Marking his first-ever appearance in India, Chef Selvaggini will present an extraordinary culinary showcase in Hyderabad, offering guests a one-of-its-kind experience that blends his distinctive European sensibilities with the warmth of Indian hospitality. This special two-day engagement promises to be a rare opportunity for gourmands to witness the artistry of a Michelin-starred chef in an intimate setting.
Michelin Star Awarded-
Hailing from Tarquinia, near Rome, Chef Andrea Selvaggini has carved an inspiring path across global fine dining, with formative stints in Italy, Spain alongside Quique Dacosta, and Mexico before making Norway his base. At just 29, he helms Restaurant Savage in Oslo which, under his leadership, was awarded a Michelin Star within seven months of opening and making him the first Italian chef in Norway to lead a restaurant to this recognition. Chef Andrea Selvaggini brings to India, his globally acclaimed signatures including Nettle Pasta with spring cassoulet and fermented white asparagus, the delicately composed “Zucchini Flower” with saffron and elderflower emulsion, and the indulgent Smoked Duck Royale with fermented koji and burnt roses - each dish a testament to his philosophy of precision, seasonality, and storytelling on the plate.

The One Michelin-starred restaurant takes its inspiration from the unique background of Executive Chef, Andrea Selvaggini. Growing up on the outskirts of Rome, he was affectionately known as ''Selvaggio''. With culinary experience spanning Italy, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Mexico, and, of course, Norway, Andrea has left his mark on esteemed kitchen teams worldwide, including renowned establishments like Quique Dacosta, Quintonil, Maaemo and Kontrast.

About Chef Andrea Selvaggini-
Born in Tarquinia, Italy in 1995, Chef Andrea Selvaggini is one of the most exciting young talents in the world of fine dining. From a young age, his passion for cooking and travel shaped his journey through some of the world’s top culinary destinations. After graduating from culinary school, he gained early experience in France and Luxembourg, before returning to Italy to work at Michelin-starred Metamorfosi and Pascucci al Porticciolo, where he discovered his deep affinity for fine dining.
International Journey-
His international journey continued with stints at Quique Dacosta (3 star Michelin, Spain), Quintonil (World’s 50 Best, Mexico City), and Maaemo (3 star Michelin, Norway), where he rose from chef de partie to R&D chef. He later led kitchens at Kontrast (1 star Michelin) and Einer in Oslo. In 2022, Chef Selvaggini opened Savage at Revier Hotel in Oslo as Executive Chef. Within just 7 months, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star, making him the first Italian chef in Norway to achieve this distinction.
