Mobility brand Montra Electric launches 'Super Cargo' electric three-wheeler in Delhi

Montra Electric, the clean mobility brand of the diversified conglomerate, Murugappa Group, today launched the 'Super Cargo' electric three-wheeler in Delhi.The new Super Cargo is set to transform the last-mile 3W cargo segment with an attractive value proposition. Designed to empower customers, the vehicle offers unmatched range and power, Which ensures higher earnings and seamless performance in different terrains.

Launch of Super Cargo -

Mr. Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director, TI Clean Mobility Pvt. Ltd. launched the Super Cargo and
MoUs were signed for the supply of over 200 Super Cargos in the presence of Mr. Roy Kurien, Business Head, Last Mile Mobility, Mr. Saju Nair, Chief Executive, Small Commercial Vehicle Unit and other key stakeholders.

Best on-road range-

The Super Cargo is powered by a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that offers best-in-class on-road range of 170 km. Its powerful drivetrain generates 70 Nm torque and 11 kW peak power with 23% gradeability. With a gross vehicle weight of 1.2-tonnes, it is built to carry all kinds of loads with ease. Built on a robust Boron Steel chassis, the Super Cargo is very robust and durable, ensuring best-in-segment uptime. With the longest wheelbase in its class, The Super Cargo features a spacious driver cabin and a 6.2-ft load tray that is ideal for delivery applications that demand larger and higher capacity.

Regenerative Braking and Multiple Drive Modes-

For enhanced safety, it is equipped with high-performance front disc brakes, hill-hold function, reverse assist and seat belt provisions. Regenerative braking and multiple drive modes enhance overall efficiency and make it easier to drive.

Available in three cargo body variants-

The Montra Electric Super Cargo is now available for bookings at exclusive showrooms in over 90 cities. The vehicle is available in three cargo body variants and they are, Tre ECX, 140 cubic feet ECX D and 170 cubic feet ECX D+. In addition, two variants (Tre EQX and 170 cubic feet EQX D+) offer the option of 100% quick charging in 15 minutes. The Super Cargo is available in four attractive colours: Chili Red, Steel Grey, Indian Blue and Stallion Brown.
